This Event was hosted by NYS Senator Gounardes and Councilman  Brannan, On USAG Fort Hamilton.

He later received a letter of appreciation from the Commander of the NY MEPS LTC Jones-Johnson. Cadet PFC Rodriguez was promoted and received awards for Recruitment & Leadership.
Bravo Zulu We had the honor of providing a replacement flag to the Babuin family, Their father a Korean War Veterans casket flag was destroyed in a fire along with all of their possessions. Post Quartermaster Flannagan & Post Commander Rodriguez Lillian & Mark Babuin son of Mario Babuin We had the honor of providing a replacement flag to the Babuin family, Their father a Korean War Veterans casket flag was destroyed in a fire along with all of their possessions. PFC Babuins Grandsons accepting their mother Dianes certificate on her behalf. Our very own Quartermaster was honored at this event with a plaque in recognition of his ARMY service and continued service to NYC Veterans.  Brother and sister Jacob & Magdalena both received awards for their essays in this years Voice of Democracy & Patriots Pen Essay/Audio essay competition. Jovenson Jerome after receiving his award from the Post Commander & Quartermaster. He has plans on attending Howard University or Syracuse University. Alana's mother had informed us that she was a VFW Post winner when she was Alana's age back in Oklahoma. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree in the Laefer Family. Retired USAF Master Sergeant & Post Life Member Rodriguez, Nephew Post Commander 7096, Mr. Diaz President of the 65th Infantry Motorcycle Association PFC Rodriguez received the Borinqueneers congressional Gold Medal along with the Republic of Korea Ambassador for Peace Medal. On October 1, 2021 Post 7096 Commander & Quartermaster received the National All-American Post Award from NYS Commander Hoag, during his visits to the Posts of NYC.
